About this experience
The signature adventure of St. Vincent. We travel along the eastern (windward) coast through agricultural villages to the trailhead, then hike steep volcanic ridges blanketed in bamboo and tropical trees.
Average hikers reach the summit in 1.5–2 hours via the eastern route, or 3–3.5 hours via the western (leeward) approach. From the rim you can climb down inside for a closer look at the steaming dome - an unforgettable encounter with a living volcano.
